Why Do We Turn to Shri Bhagavan?
Four Human Motivations on the Spiritual Path

In Bhagavad Gita 7.16, Shri Krishna identifies four kinds of people who turn toward Him:
Those in distress. Those who are curious. Those seeking wealth. Those seeking knowledge.
The fascinating question is: Which one are you—and does that change over the course of your life?

We may first approach Bhagavan because we want relief, answers, prosperity, or knowledge. But bhakti begins to mature when our relationship changes from: “What can Bhagavan give me?” to “How can I know Bhagavan—and how can my life become an offering?”
