Kavindra explains that money, sex, and power – like all material and pleasurable pursuits – are okay within balance and reason, and indeed are necessary for us to survive and thrive. It is when they are out of balance, however, and are driven only by the four “animal propensities” that yoga describes – eating, sleeping, mating, and defending – that they become selfish and dangerous.

Kavindra insists that entrepreneurs must evolve into “mantrapreneurs” (and certainly not devolve into “entre-manures”) using the tools and techniques of yoga to lead a balanced, sattvic lifestyle and work for loka samgraha – holding the world together. Indeed, we are on the brink of the very destruction described and foretold in the Mahabharata and the Bhagavad Gita, precisely the reason why Bhagavan Shri Krishna appeared on this planet almost 8000 years ago – to warn us and leave us the wisdom and tools to avert it.
