JEFFREY ARMSTRONG | KAVINDRA RISHI ICCR Distinguished Indologist of the Year Vedic Scholar, Jyotish, Author & Poet

Jeffrey has degrees in Psychology, History & Comparative Religions, and Literature, and has deeply immersed himself in the study and teaching of Vedic philosophy, yoga and astrology for the past 45 years. Prior to his 10-year career as an executive in Silicon Valley, he spent five years in an ashram as a brahmacharya (monk). He is an award-winning poet and best-selling author of numerous books including The Bhagavad Gita Comes Alive.  Jeffrey’s years of diverse experience in executive corporate situations, relationship counseling, and high-level psychological mentoring make him uniquely qualified to teach the “Philosophy & Psychology of Yoga” that is required to reach the enquiring minds of today. His methods go beyond the psychological or process-based techniques currently popular in the west, presenting some of the most timeless truths emerging from yogic paradigms.

Selected by Spirituality & Health as one of 100 Trailblazers of Yoga & Ayurveda, Laura Plumb is the Founder and Director of VedaWise, lead faculty for the Ayurvedic Integrated Nutrition 200 hour Professional Training, author of the best-selling book Ayurveda Cooking For Beginners, creator/presenter of the online video course The Medicine In Your Kitchen: Introduction to Ayurvedic Cooking hosted by Spirituality & Health, writer and host of the 53-part television show CleanseVeda. Formerly the General Manager of The Discovery Channel Europe, Laura offers clinical services in natural medicine for whole person wellness, and health practitioner trainings in the Vedic sciences. She leads online courses, and gives classes and consultations in Ayurveda, Jyotish, Yoga Therapy, Whole Food Cooking and Nutrition,

We recommend you fly into Cancun on Wednesday Feb 26 and stay 1 night in Cancun (meetup hotel is not included in this price but we will coordinate with the group) Transport is included from the meetup hotel on THURS. Feb 27 to the venue 90 minutes away provided you depart with the group around noon. Details will be provided once you register.
